The base model maybe less then or around 20K, the redline probably considerably more.

Why doesnt GM just rename themselves Opel/Holden and be done with it? They could shed decades of bad PR with this move.

no Geo was GM colaberation with Japanese car companies to affordable dependable cars... basicly rebadged Toyota's, Susuki's, and Izusu's

I like the Astra as well, I'm just not keen on the interior, it could be better. I remember seeing it up close at the auto show of course you couldn't sit in it but maybe next year you can as this car will be out.
