"Would You Let One Of Your Best Friends Drive Your Yaris? "

No, because the manual transmission really does take a while before you get the hang of it on the Yaris and I think my friends who drive autos would get frustrated. Plus I don't want anyone torturing my little car while they're trying to learn - I stalled it enough times myself when I first got it

At times, I wish I had gotten an auto in case I have to let someone drive it, but I didn't, so the answer is no.

I was also thinking that too, but my gf would be piss if that was my reason for him not to drive my car.

I've let my fiance drive my car about 6-8 times.... all but one or two of those times were highway driving, probably because I didn't want to do an 8hr drive all by myself. 8 hr drives are not fun after getting off work.

I would also let my best friend drive my car for a week if he was ready to buy a new car... he wants to get a fit... but driving a yaris for a few days might be good for him too. My car has been driven (for more than 50ft) for only about 8-10 times by people other than myself.
