Completely Overhauled my website tonight

after almost a year of not selling anything in the online store i decided to go a different direction with my site.

i had the idea over the last couple of days of starting a local magazine.. that i just might do.. so to kinda lay the ground work for it I decided to change my site to something more informational to showcase my photography and start a blog for people in my local music scene to follow.

lmk what you think!

Gorgeous graphics! I love the little things that show that you put some time into the design, such as the birds' wingtips overlaying the content at the bottom of the page. The backgrounds do take awhile to load, but I think the effects are worth it.

Looking good! It would be nice to have some zoomable graphics in order to appreciate some of the detail involved in the screen-printing, which is something customers may be a little picky about.

My #1 recommendation in that area is Lightbox. If you are running a WordPress backend, you should consider Shadowbox instead.

Great work so far! Keep it up.

look good, i would lose the ad boxes, professional sites shouldnt have ads on them. Makes them look like you built it and hosting it on a free site.

Maybe you should advertise in this magazine.

T-WORLD: THE JOURNAL OF T-SHIRT CULTURE

The only global T-Shirt Magazine in existence. This is a place where obsession is encouraged, entertainment is assured and information is fresh. Completely focused on T-shirt culture and every facet within. Created by and produced for T-shirts enthusiasts, T-world showcases the global phenomenon of T-shirt culture and is highly regarded as the bible for this 'must have' fashion accessory. T-world is one of mag nation's favourite mags (journal to the guys that produce it!) and best sellers.

Check it out http://www.magnation.com/Tworld-The-...rchState=80bf0

There is a big market here in Australia for cool T's. Best of luck.

i noticed the long load last night and found that the birds was actually loading the whole png which was like 200kb. so i reduced the size of the image (cropped the usable area) and reduced the file size to a much smaller number.. loads alot quicker now.

one plus to add boxes is that tons of people will look at this site.. probably a fraction of a percent will actually contact me about screen printing. so i would like to make some money off people who arent there to buy. i used to make good money off my paintball store back in the day with banners. i might take them off. but one or two on a page is fine with me :)

Mad Dog.

i'm not sure if i want a T-shirt magazine. i was thinking more on local culture as a start, skateparks, shows, fashion.

lately i've been getting way more interested in photography and the idea of doing something other than screen printing.. or maybe keep screen printing as something i can contract out locally. the money in it is okay but the work is tedious. Idk i might just be having a down week since i screwed up an order the other day and had to replace about $400 in good out of my pocket :( stuff like that makes it less enjoyable when half the months profits are gone for a stupid mistake

anywho.. thanks for the responses guys. any more reccomendations would be great :) for some reason YW wasnt sending me updates on this thread

that last sentence is kinda repetitive about having a heart. I'd say drop it. other than that nice looking, modern site.
