"Spot free" rinse?
Have you folks used the so called "Spot free" rinse at the self carwash places? Does it work for you?- is it "spot free"?
I used it last night but for me, I don't usually hand dry my Yaris, I just wash and go and go on the highway and dry it that way lol. It works for me : ) |

I wouldn't call it "spot free" but water spots are fewer and less apparent than they would be otherwise.

Spot free rinse still leaves a few spots, just less than usual.
It's really just SUPER purified water |

i think its quite spot free. i dont usually notice anything after the wash. up until a week ago i had never washed the car by hand. figured all touchless would keep the car cleaner.. but some spots just werent coming out .. so i had to break down and wash it by hand..

I use the Absorber synthetic chamois, works great. Takes only a few minutes and cheap price.

If your not going to hand wash it, at least hand dry it.... driving 80mph down the highway wont give you a "spot-free" shine.....

Have you tried The Absorber? It's no joke, the thing is awesome. If you're concerned about water spots, get one of those and at least dry off the horizontal surfaces before doing the highway dry. |

^ no doubt.
I'm guilty of doing the occasional rinse then drive when I'm short on time and my car is so filthy I can't stand it. But I don't see the point in actually WASHING it and not drying. Seems Like it kinda defeats the purpose of the wash :p and the worst part is... No matter how fast you drive... That rear end never gets enough wind, so there's no way the hatch / rear bump doesn't have waterspots. Use that 10 min of driving to dry it off with the absorber, it'll look better and save you gas ;) |

Careful, there, RevoluScion.
I honestly can't tell if you're just advertising for your sponsor (the great majority of your posts are about "smartwax") or if you're just real passionate about a product you like. If you're just advertising, be aware there is a process to follow in the forum to be a vendor and /or advertise products. Otherwise, your posts could be viewed as spam, enuff said. |
