I'm corrected. Thank you. Off hand, I would say that it's a bad idea. The LS6 is a high performance engine with a different displacement. I can think of one good reason. The LS6 cam would have a higher lift and the pistons would have to be notched or shaped to allow valve clearance.

Not a problem man, no worries. Honestly I think it would just be easier to buy aftermarket performance parts for the LM7, but thats my take on it.

Looking at a few things it seems that the intake manifold is interchangeable, along with the cams. But if you change the cams you may want to see if you can find pistons that have correct dimples in them or are short enough to clear the valves. It also seems that most ls headers are interchangeable as long as they clear the inner fender and the firewall. The heads also swap over, which will give you a lower compression ratio, which in turn is good for boost.

Research is a good friend. I found all that on google books. The book said that if you swap LM7 heads on a LS1 it will raise the compression so the opposite must be true because the LS1 heads have a bigger combustion chamber.
