i'm having the same issues as you are having in my mmt transmission. the car is sluggish and often doesn't accelerate properly.if i read correctly, you placed your foot on the gas,the car jerked and then you removed the foot from the gas pedal?
Reading several posts about this "sluggish" yaris stuff,i think the ECU got used to highway speeds,and when you needed to accelerate from a stop,your car jerked. try to continue the press on the gas.
