anyone on sprint know of any new phones comin out soon?
i tried the evo and the epic....both jacked up my bill to almost 50 more than normal...and they both werent worth the extras....size mostly was the issue, and aftermarket support.
now i've heard rumor of HTC hero2 coming out soon and i'm peaked...but no release date yet? any ideas? or, any other people satisfied with the sanyo zio or the motorola L1? i dont wanna pay 20 for settin up and then less than thirty days be returning it like the other two phones... any help would be awesome. |

you returned the EVO and the EPIC? Oh wow. Those are 2 of my favorite phones right there.
![]() try this site. http://www.phonedog.com/ and do a search in there to see what they have to say about Sprint's phones. They do reviews of all high end and not so high end phones http://www.phonedog.com/reviews/ Sidney does the less expensive phones's reviews so you may try to search her reviews to see if she's got anything to say about Sprint. New phones are bound to come out right before the holidays so I'd wait if I were you. And new phones mean that the existing phone's prices might go down some. Hope that helps it's consumer friendly and they're honest. |

I'm curious, why do you think you need aftermarket support? If you get a good unit, you won't need any support.
![]() The EVO I got is working out pretty well for me. There were some issues after the Froyo updates that caused me to call HTC but there was nothing they could do. Google released an update eventually (?) and everything worked out eventually. I've had problems with some apps, but you can't blame the phone for 3rd party apps not working right. Yes, it's big in the hand, I agree. At times, I still miss my Nexus One (the Hero's big brother) because I could do a fair amount of stuff one-handed on that phone, not so with the EVO. Still, it's a good phone, can't knock it down. |
