Let me be the first on this forum to call shenanigans!!

This entire news production resembles an act straight out of "Wag the Dog":

Dustin Hoffman (brainstorming, talking aloud): Why can't the US gov't produce the body of Bin Laden? Dammit think!

RObert DeNiro: The body has been lost at sea.

Hoffman: What?

Deniro: There's no body because it's been lost at sea.

Hoffman: You expect the public to believe that US Special Ops LOST the body of Osama bin Laden, World's Most Wanted Man ten years running? Get out of town! They won't bite!

DeNiro: Oh They'll bite. If we tell them it was done on purpose- In strict accordance with muslim burial tradition- oh they'll bite. THey'll bite alright.

Hoffman (smacks his forehead): Of Course! Muslim burial tradition! So as to extend an olive branch to the radical muslim world! THat's brilliant! But Is there really such a tradtion?

DeNiro (shrugs): We'll find something close enough.
