It is so nice to know someone else feels this way. So tired of everyone walking around expecting the world to coddle them. It's not the responsibility of everyone else to make sure your feelings are never hurt. It's really not.

But being that this is a forum that has the luxury of moderation and all that, I can see why he politely asked the OP not to use that word. Things run a lot better on here if we all make a small bit of effort to be kind to one another. Especially when not using a word like that doesn't require all that much sacrifice.
