I agree, PDR is your friend. I had PDR done in the summer to remove a ding and a crease on a door, and the results were amazing. I have no clue anymore where the ding and the crease were, because there is no trace of it left. And it was only $150, and worth every penny. I actually had it done at a body shop, but they didn't do it themselves (they brought in a specialist). There's no reason to fear door dings or hailstorms. As long as the paint is intact, everything can be fixed to look like new. Just take it to someplace reputable, and you have nothing to worry about. There is no reason to accept damage as a fact of life, as some people here are suggesting. Everything's fixable.
