I disagree. I put about 40k miles on mine with great results. The last 2 years I ran them I used them as siped winter tires and they performed well up until they didn't have decent tread left. I always kept them at the proper air pressure. Even the 2nd Yaris the ex ended up with did very well with them and hers was two years newer.

But yes, the ones in the picture are unsafe. Replace.

I'd never heard that term before. I had to look it up. One learns something new every day .

I always kept them at the proper air pressure.

I kept mine at about 38 (a bit over proper IIRC) and stretched them a bit over the rated mileage limit. Now that I think about it, I think one person on that 'How long did your OEM tires last' thread got 90k. I can't remember if that person had the these Goodyear Eagles we had or the other OEM set that other people had.

Definitely. Sometimes an OP takes a pic and it is blurry or the OP doesn't capture what he or she is trying to illustrate re holding the camera at the wrong angle, or for some other reason. Not the case here. Great pic for the intended purpose .
