problem is that in malaysia, nobody seems to sell the tanabe exhaust or the header.
Happy to ship internationally, and those parts are usually in stock.

I sometimes see really neato aftermarket parts available in Japan that no one will ever get here in the US.
I can import any product you can find from Japan. If you want to pay for it!

I'm pretty sure garm will ship wherever though i don't know how customs or taxes would be.
Thank you, yes I do, and we help minimize duties and fees as best we can.

You have somebody in japan that helps you to ship them? Can you do a direct shipment to malaysia instead of routing it to us then to malaysia? It would be a round the world for that item, lol

I'm not sure. What's the part you have in mind?

Several of us have done resonator back exhausts. just after the resonator is where the exhaust shrinks from 2" to 1.75". I went with a mandrel bent 2" exhaust with a glass packed muffler. I don't have any dyno sheets but am happy with it. it did require welding though.
I got the same set up. 2 inch from resonator to TRD muffler. The sound is okay.
I just wondering what if I delete second cat and resonator with 2.5 all the back to
TRD muffler. I believe i will lose little bit of low end and got more high end. Also, I got DC 4-1 header.
Any suggestion or has anyone done it yet.

There are 2 cat's on these toyotas? No way.
Losing any cat increases torque, since it's basically a really thin straw the engine tries to breathe through. You might have issues with the emissions test though.

The second one isn't as important as the first one, but I wouldn't remove any of them.

The flow is already set by the first cat...so removing the 2nd cat is only going to gain more noise then power.

Yes, thats the stock yaris exhaust system that is on everyones beloved, including mine. I wouldnt mind removing the 2nd cat if it does increase torque in anyway, besides in malaysia there is no such a rule for emisions... the rules here are all bendable. Can anyone here prove that removing the 2nd cat increases or decreases power?

2nd issue is, i want an axleback exhaust, but i just cant find any here in malaysia, so it would have to be custom. Any suggestions? Mine is an automatic,.

3 issue is, changing the cat, i would like to change the 1st cat to a high flow, any suggestions on that too?

Thanks guys

Isn't it 1 cat and 1 resonator, not 2 cats?

^ No. Look at the diagram, you'll see both cats before the resonator (#5).

Had this installed yesterday... noticeable gain in torque and reduction in engine grunt, especially when uphill drive, and much more smoothness, i mean it wont hold back the car when i release throttle....

Its a 4-2-1.
