Oh yeah man definitely. The plug was only $1 for two from Lowes, in the hardware section. I got the one inch plug. The rubber part we remove from the same spot is 1.5 inches to be exact, but that's because the rubber covers a little more. The hole itself is only 1 inch. I just put a rubber O ring under to make sure no water gets in.
