I try my best to avoid searching on Google. I used to use Scroogle (a one person, IIRC, non profit with 9 (?) servers that would feed people's searches to Google through their IP address.....not the searcher's IP address). Google eventually found a way to block Scroogle. A few days before Scroogle shut down, they posted a link to DuckDuckGo. These days I usually use DuckDuckGo. Some physical addresses only appear on Google Maps. Google Street View also seems to be the best of such products. My house was the last one built in my neighborhood. Google Street View shows all of my neighbor's houses, but the view in my case was captured the day after they finished the foundation . And that was in 2008!
