After driving a Yaris hatchback, there's no way in heck I would ever set foot in a Coupe again after driving a coupe for years.

Way too low to the ground, it's like crawling in and out of a cave.. Poor visibility, too many SUVs blocking your view, and they're really not safe cars as most head-on collisions would result in the other car driving up and over your little coupe.. I've seen trucks on the road with tires bigger than the roof of my old sport coupe..

Maybe it's just where I live, but I really don't like Coupes anymore.. Looking out the window of my coupe on the highway at 75MPH and see nothing but tire rim out the window is some scary stuff.. I'm scraping my old sport coupe this spring.

Not too crazy about the huge front overhang, but if that's what you want then I hope you'll enjoy your new ride better. Sorry to hear you're getting rid of the Yaris though

supposed to be on sale end of summer. Ill wait until the "I NEED IT" crowd dies down, but yeah, this is what my car is getting sold for. Keep in mind I am keeping my supercharged scion tc, but I love honda. I have a honda rc51 1000rr sportbike, and a honda CBR1000RR (2008). Honda builds great products.

Id prefer the manual, BUT the auto CVT features the paddle shifting.. ahh.. choices choices choices.

Bend over! Vasoline may help.

It looks like a Prius. I'd rather get the Prius.
I bet that shark fin antenna costs $499 alone.

I can't wait to sell my yaris hatchback

To get one of these...

...but the Scirocco probably won't ever make it to the US market so I guess I'll just keep the Yaris.

Sitting low is an acquired taste I guess.
Too many SUV's blocking your view, that's true.
Same thing in the parking lot, you can't spot it when 2 SUV's park next to it.
I also used to hate scrapping my car's bottom getting in and out of the driveway at times ... but the handling? I sure miss that at times

that said, I'm in NO HURRY to sell my Yaris.

Okay class, what doe CVT stand for?

Continually Variable Transmission (one gear, no more, no less)

So, if I put paddle shifters in a Prius with CVT, do you think they would even work?

No, because, just like a snowmobile, you only have two pulleys. One gets bigger and the other gets smaller, and that makes either more low end or more high end power/ speed.

Now, if they are using the same CVT in the Honda, is there a need or use for paddle shifters?

Class dismissed.

Subaru has paddle shifting in its CVT-equipped Legacys.

Altima does, too.

Stop thinking that people care about what you think. Nobody cares, nobody is dreaming about spending your money and nobody has taste bad enough to consider buying something so fugly. Maybe you should go buy the car you like and not make dumb posts...that would be a winning situation and still nobody would care.
