@ Garm: Do I take it you fit it on top of the stock exhaust and screw it in place? No drilling, welding required?

yes, you slide it onto the stock pipe, and tighten the two bolts to secure it.

You'd fit in well with my boyfriend. He put a 6" tip on his 2002 WV Golf TDI... He thought it'd make it sound better... It doesn't... At least in my opinion anyway.
