DIY door rattle fix
For about as long as I've been driving my Yaris sedan, I noticed there was a rattle (when playing music) coming for the passenger door. The culprit was the cubby hole in the door, which I assume is mainly used to close the door from the inside.
So, I went looking around the house for some type of insulating material I could use. I found some type of material that you put under carpets to keep from sliding, and an elastic! No more rattle! |

Great job Phaznet! Time to tear apart my drivers side door, where would one get that fabric you used?

Thanks, I wouldn't consider it great thought, lol! It does work, however. Now I'm considering doing it to the driver's side also.
I imagine you could purchase such a fabric at one of the many dollar stores popping up everywhere. I didn't look for anything specific, just any sort of padding I could use. |
