Funny how the media can get ahold of something, use it like crazy, and not even know what they're talking about. "Keep it on the down low" was a very common phrase not very long ago, and I'm pretty sure no one knew exactly what it meant.

The dumb fuckers probably A - can't afford an Escalade, but on a forum, who would know. B - couldn't afford to put gas IN the Escalade so they make fun of a good MPG car. C - Probably drive a Kia or a Daewoo or a Metro.
