no, but it really is the coolest thing ever, I hate blockbuster and there is a great video store around the corner that has obscure stuff but they are behind the times and most of the good stuff is on video although they have some good dvd, browsing is a bitch and it's 4 bucks a rental and late fees and all that shit, irritations

I find it much easier to search for what I want using netflix and they have a very broad selection also I only spend 20. bucks a month and I watch a ton of movies, they basically send me one as fast as I can get them back

I am on the 3 at a time plan and I almost always have something to watch plus they have the watch now feature with a fairly good selection that continues to improve

I've watched 118 movies this year not including my instant watching stuff, DVR recordings, stuff I watch on Saturday night at my friend's place 'cuz that's movie night and a few I've seen in theaters

I only use blockbuster cuz i get two coupons for free in-store video or GAME rental.. and guess what I use it for... that's right, GAMES! and i can easily just go into the store and pick up new movies after i watched the dvds that comes in the mail. they are also doing blu-ray and hd dvd online now but those are impossible to get since everyone is renting it and there aren't that many blu-ray/hd dvd titles out yet. I pay 17.99 a month for all this. And I live in crazy commercial area.. so I think the only video rental stores around are... blockbuster and possibly hollywood video but I've never been to one myself.

I didn't enjoy Hostel so I haven't even bothered with Hostel 2 yet. Something has been lost in these movies. This guy is getting a ton of credit for these movies and me being a horror fan; I would put his movies in another genre. Just not my thing but nice to see lots of tits.

American Beauty was good and also around that time and often overlooked, The Virgin Suicides

I love Ichi the Killer!

Audition*
The Bird People in China
City of Lost Souls*
Dead or Alive*
Dead or Alive 2*
Dead or Alive Final*
Deadly Outlaw:Rekka
Fudoh: The New Generation*
Full Metal Yakuza
Gozu*
The Great Yoki War
The Happiness of the Katakuris*
Ichi the Killer*
Izo*
Last Life in the Universe*
Ley Lines*
Masters of Horror-Takashi Miike:Imprint
MPD Psycho, II, III
Neighbor No. 13*
One Missed Call*
Rainy Dog*
Sabu
Shinjuku Triad Society
Three....Extremes
Visitor Q*
Yakuza Demon*
Young Thugs: Innocent Blood

Above is what I have seen so far of Takashi Miike films. I put asterisks by the ones I most enjoyed but I have never been dissapointed by any of his films.

Have you seen Ichi-1 based on the same character but different director? I haven't seen yet. It is a prequel to Ichi the Killer.

yes both in Gozu and in Visitor Q breast milk was used

I would highly recomend Last Life in the Universe and Gozu. Gozu is quite like a David Lynch film as far as the style of the film.

I just queued it up in my Netflix. Probably catch it later this week. Translated as "after life" on the netflix sight. They compare with Red and Blue and Red is one of my favorite Krzysztof Kieslowski films.

That scene with the arms for legs and legs for arms is pretty wicked. It wasn't a terrible movie. Could have been worse.

I'll rent it next chance I get. Although, I haven't had as much time to watch movies as I used to. Darn work.
