I'm a Computer Technician. Well, in a word, anyway. Really I'm a jack of all computer trades.

We have 10 gaming computers that people pay and play on by the hour.
We have 6 internet computers that people pay (less) and surf on by the hour.
We have 5 XBox 360s that people pay and play on by the hour.
We have 26 workstations for people to bring their own equipment.
We have a custom-built DDR machine.
We do computer repairs and on-site jobs. I've done the entire computer and networking systems for a couple of local companies, and I repair an average of (approximately) 25 computers a week.
I also manage/administrate our 8 servers in addition to all of our other computers.

My boss, who is one step shy of computer illiterate (but at least she's really cool about it) opened this store about a year ago, so her husband and I have been at work on it since a year and a half ago. I work a 54 hour week and love it.

Oh, and I go to college for a major in automotive design.

I'm a technician at a computer store. Mostly I repair end user pc's, but on occasion I get dragged out to do cabling (I'm by far the smallest one at my job), and sometimes I get to go help with the big server installs, depending on who's available. I used to do server side more, but me and one of the people back there (the dispatcher) don't get along very well. Usually if I go, the owner is the one doing the work. I'm lucky that I'm a relative.

I'm the IT Manager for a company that writes wireless applications for cellular phones. It's a high profile and high pressure position on the cutting edge of technology but I'm given the freedom, budget and manpower to meet each challenge.

I couldn't be happier.
