I work as a graphic designer by day, and a pizza delivery driver by night. I also work for an auction company doing data entry and computer/network troubleshooting, and occasionally I make house calls for computer repair/upgrades/troubleshooting/and tutoring.

I ask because I am majoring in Product Design Research and Development at SFSU in Spring 08.
I would like some insight if you can, but you dont have to ^_^

Oh, I'm a college student at De Anza, majoring in product design at SFSU and work part-time at Home Depot ~_~

i work at a small IT consulting company in Illinois. Right now, I'm working on sharepoint.. i'm certified in sharepoint..not that anyone knows that that means.. but that's ok. I majored in psychology but instead, i'm working on computers. I have always been a quick learner though so a lot of software I figured out by myself. this is how i'm able to stay alive haha

Kioshi, I am about the last one you should ask for career advice. My degree is in English with art minor! All my training has been on the job, and since I never had a career plan I've had some odd ones (for example, my first was designing exhibits at a museum where I had been volunteer classroom helper).

My only advice would be that whatever you are designing, keep the end user in mind at all times. Learn to think like they do and how people actually use stuff in the real world--this seems to apply whether you are designing an ergonomic chair or a web interface. And learn to justify your decisions to the accountants--this helps ensure your designs get produced with a minimum of aggravation for everyone.

Good luck to you! man I kinda wish I was just starting out again...

I drive a Pepsi truck. Pays pretty damn good if I may say so myself and it's really physical. Beats sitting infront of a computer all day

I work at Big Al's Aquarium Services, Scarborough location. I deal with customers, questions, take care of the fish...all that stuff. And I mean pet fish, not fish to eat haha. Anyone has any questions they'd like to be answered about their home aquariums, pm me. I know my share about fish.

parts advisor??? what do you mean by that?

anyways i'm a BMW tech. I'm stuck with the MINI's now but i don't mind one bit. I have been with MINI for over a year and i like it. before that i was with Acura for a couple of years.

i plan on becoming an advisor and going back to school for a mechanical engineering degree and later down the road either try to get a job at the factory or becoming a shop manager.

That's what my title is, Parts Advisor..at least that's what they put on my business cards

I typically just say BMW Parts Guy. That works.

So, you can feel my pain when I say BMW's are a PITA when it comes to repair/parts..
