Female yaris owners - how to make yaris look more pretty and feminine?

Hi everyone,
This is for the female yaris owners...how can I make my yaris hatchback interior look pretty and feminine (but not tacky)?

Its my first car, and i'm not sure what I should do. I am also a student so am not rolling in money at the moment and am clueless about cars. I got the car in May of this year and have made no changes to it.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Go with feminine colors..get some pink or violet on there, somehow, maybe?

Yeah, some nice seat covers with a motif, like Hello Kitty, for example.

And, maybe a Hello Kitty TRD emblem on the hatch... then you'd have a really cool and feminine chick car with a theme!

Here you go:

Thanks for the suggestion. Today I actually saw a car with some hello kitty head rest and seat covers - can't say i'm a fan of that style, but it did make me smile.

Welcome to Yaris World...

Well you can take the ENTIRE dash off... Tape pictures and other little trinkets and make a collage... Then go to Pep Boys and pick up some Clear Paint Spray Can and Spray the HECK out of that thing... It should give it a Nice Glossy Protective cover!

Just for the record… I am a Dude!

Depends on how much you are willing to do. The seat covers are a great suggestion and super simple.

But here is someone who did a very nice job of painting interior pieces lavender. http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...light=lavender

And redyaris changed the fabric inside--really professional-looking results

BTW, Welcome!

That looks great for a DIY job! My car is the same colour as that too - except my door liners are just plain black with no pattern.

You could take old t-shirts that you like and sew them together then attachit to the headliner. we did this in my girlfriends car it gave it a girlie punk look. we also glued rhynstones to alot of stuff. like the mirror and shift knob. but other than that a couple cans a spray paint and a look at the DIY section should get you started.

Cool idea, I've seen quilts made of t-shirts but never a headliner!

Yeah fainty girl, the hot glue gun is your friend. You could stick trim (like fur or fringe) around the top of the windshield, bling up the dash, and it's easy to remove if you ever sell the car.

Another cool thing is clear window decal paper (get it at staples) to print out decals that cling to the inside of the glass. They are see-thru so not so obvious as stickers from outside but very colorful inside.
