Methinks that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; ... " merely means that Congress cannot make laws abridging the freedom of speech, etc.
IN NO WAY does it even begin to imply that only Congress has freedom of speech. Please read what you wrote, Oh Grear One.

Again we see the difference of opinion. I say that it is his responsibility to behave, to follow the rules, and to be a productive member of the forum, rather than it being my responsibility to just grin and bear him. If each of us behaves then there is no need for anyone to ignore anyone.

so how do you hit the ignore button? I don't see one. It would be handy sometimes. (Example: someone wants to know the best place to buy a strut tower bar, and someone decides to chime in saying they are worthless and people who buy them are stupid.)

And again you don't understand the whole freedom of speech thing. Your system would see books banned from libraries because you don't like the contents. My system means you can walk past the books of authors you don't like, and concentrate on the stuff you DO like. It's really very simple - it's called tolerance of others' ideas, and every dicator or tyrant in the world hates it.
