Well, I just spent $13 for a black t-shirt. That justifies the $3000 that apparently will get me back up to factory stated hp.

Umm, true. Sadly, that's why far too many American's are up to their eyeballs in debt. I feel VERY fortunate that although I am not rich (far from it) I owe nothing to anybody. If I cannot afford to pay for it by the time the bill comes in, I don't buy it, because it means I cannot afford it. I do not keep balances on credit cards...banks pay ME interest, I don't pay banks interest.

If you buy a worthless gas cap for $40, and have debt on your credit cards, that silly cap winds up costing far more than the already silly cost of $40 (for a GAS CAP!!) with the interest you're paying to the credit card company. Why would anybody do that? Sorry, I don't get it....

Hey Bobby... it's not a financial forum, it's a forum about people who are passionate about their cars. If I questioned every purchase I made related to my hobbies I wouldn't have any hobbies!! As long as I can pay my bills, sure I still have credit card debt, but I "WILL" have one of those gas caps. So what? It's $40 and I'll be the first to say it's a terrible "financial" decision, but it will be an enjoyable "EMOTIONAL" decision !!

Oh by the way. I made another "terrible" decision last week.
I purchased a Tanabe Medalion exhaust from Cali !!!!
