Running should be about running. wtf is all of this "elite" classing and such. they organization made themselves look bad.

elites are for those who are known to be fast or are competition runners and have a choice of putting them selfs in this category and go earlier then the rest of the pack so the pack doesn't interfere with the start and time. My mom is a Marathon runners she has run 2, the Lake Tahoe and Reno Marathons.
