Bite the bullet and get another Yaris. Although you will spend more than your 9k budget, it will pay for itself with no major car problems for years to come.

Well, to make a long story short, the van is pretty much dead, the transmission is chattering and shuddering like crazy in the lower gears, tomorrow we are going to look at some Yarii's!!! I will keep you posted on what we get.
