obama has no where to go but up.

bob_vt, the attack on iraq was an unjustified and aggressive act and illegal under intl law. it has resulted in hundreds of thousands innocent civilian deaths and a country which is no better off than it was previously,
and my many accounts much worse.
no, the u.s. doesn't come out as the good guy in this one.

We can argue but we should best agree to disagree on this one. I participated in the 1st Gulf War and we should have never slacked up.

Why is it that we spend more on war/destruction/killing than we do on education or on healthcare?

Humph! Don't dampen my enthusiasm. I am just very VERY relieved that soon the Bush years will be history, (a dark spot in our history, but nonetheless) and that our new, brilliant, 44th President will take over & usher in a new--and better--era in America.

Is it so awful to feel joy, pride, optimism, and hope for the future of this country?
