If you want speed and rally car feel you made the right choice, but BMW's are about speed and luxury. Both are great cars, but they are not directly comparable.

Nice car btw. Have fun.

Ditto on the nice car comments. Lucky you, I'll probably be stuck with my yaris for many years to come. Not that thats a bad thing, but it would be nice to have something like that.

Just out of curiousity does this have anything to do with you cancelling on the meet tonight with malaya? xD

My ideal car would be a 2008 Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Traitor! Yaris owners that give it up for an upgrade should be banned from the forums.

not really, just bad drivers. ive got 100k hard miles on my sti 6spd and it still shifts perfect.

nice ride anyway, theres a '07 White STI Limited ive been eyeing at a dealer near my house. gas is cheap now and the self control is becoming hard.

Right, plus i dont think subaru would build a tranny that couldn't handle the car's stock hp...totally stupid to think other wise.

People are stupid how they drive, that's how shit happens.

exactly, there are many 500+ whp wrx/sti's with a stock sti 6spd tranny. the wrx transmissions are a bit weaker and start to break above 320 whp (ive replaced many of those gear sets) but the stock sti unit can take gobs of power.

And when car companies build engine's, they always leave a little room for improvement HP that the engine can handle, its not like 1hp over stock and BOOM your tranny or engine can't handle it, especially engines that were made for turbo, they usually can handle quite a bit more then stock w/out having major problems.

You never know... Look at the Nissan GT-R. Transmission horror stories galore. They obviously overlooked this important piece of hardware when building their super car. But then again, this is a Subaru not a Nissan

what nissan actually should have done is not give the car launch control. that would stop all the "horror stories" which are actually dealers not repairing peoples stupid mistake for free. abused products dont make them bad.
