DROPZONE SPRINGS. GOOD/BAD??
im inquiring about springs for my 3dr RS. i found that dropzone makes them for our cars and offers a 2 inch drop. and its cheaper than most other springs, i had them in my Integra and they were great. just want some opinion to see if maybe this is a good idea for our cars? thanks...

in my experience, you get what you pay for.
AND never be the first one to try something new when youre trying to be cheap. i would definitely lean more towards finding some springs (new or used) that have been used by other owners, so you KNOW its what you want. also, that site seems to ship UPS, and if you havent had something shipped to canada via UPS before, ill fill you in on a little secret: they charge you A LOT of brokerage fees. if ordering from the states, youll want to get something shipped USPS (united states postal service) to avoid brokerage fees. but all that shipping stuff is moot if you plan to ship just across the border at say Ogdensburg, or something....and picking it up yourself....

When i put dropzone springs in my escort awile back. THe spring didnt fill up the space inbetween the strut perches. Meaning you didnt have to compress the spring at all to put it into the strut. So when you would turn the spring would rattle around it was very annoying. I dont think they are designed very well. ALso i think they are linear not progressive. So it will give you a very harsh ride.

When it comes to steering, suspension, brakes and the like your first consideration should be safety.
The price is cheap = nobody is buying them. Do you want to be the "crash test dummy" if they're junk and fail? FYI, I've had Eibach springs snap and they have a great reputation. No telling what quality an un-known is dispensing.
