AGND is the shield, where as ASGND is the audio signal ground. I think they added the shield to the 09's to fix the noise issue that some people complained of in prior years.

Mind uploading the '09 5-door LB's service manual here?
I looked at the connector on the back of the stock HU that the stock aux jack's harness connects to and the pins on the connector on the back of the stock HU look like needles. I thought that they were flat metal pins. If I solder each wire from my 3.5mm cable to a needle and insert the needle into the corresponding slot in the aux jack's harness connector, do you think that would work?
