I've totaled a few cars in my day. The bad feeling lasts until you get the next new car. Was that a one way road?

Thanks for the kind words.

It was on a two-way road separated by a median. It's at the bottom of a steep hill and the the start of the road is a 45 degree curve. I was told that many others have had accidents there because people tend to hit the gas to start up the hill right at the apex of the curve. The wet and oily surface did not help.

I tried to get her to agree to buy a Yaris but she declined.

Yeah, she's shrugging off her injuries and thinking the same thing about the car. It WAS an '86 t-top with 130,000 miles. Like I said, she drove it like the little old lady from Pasadena.

My wife doesn't want her own Yaris either.
