Same smart key system that is on many Toyotas. There is actually a magnetic sensor and when anything breaks the field the door will unlock provided you have the smart key with you.......

Wait, they don't have that option in the US? I bought my Yaris S A/T Limited Edition BECAUSE it has this feature. I'm loving it. ;)

Hi
I have it in my European Yaris. Just need to have the key in the pocket and when you put your hand on the handle the car opens and push the button and it starts when you have the clutch pushed. When locking the car you just push the black knob on the handle or on the rear hatch handle. It´s only in the top model in Europe called Sol. Think´s it´s the same in Japan. My car is the same as in the ad, but mine is black. It also have automatic A/C etc. In Denmark, where the cars are very expensive, my Yaris costed $46.000 new in January 2007. Now it has been lowered to $41500. Regards Steven. |

Hi
That´s in US dollars. In DKK it´s 245.000. before april 2007 and 220.000. after. Those prices is plus met. paint and delivery charges ( license plates etc. ). It´s because we have 180% taxes on the cars in Denmark, but in 2007 environmental good cars got a little cheaper tax, but not much. Regards Steven. |
