TOUGEghost Mr. Clean View User's Garage Drives: 2009 Yaris S 3-Door Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Kauai Posts: 268	The cover seems to be for noise suppression (and hiding the wiring mess) more than anything else. My engine seemed louder after I took it off; but after a few days I got used to it and didn't even notice it anymore.
