The water temp is still staying in the 184-188 range, but it seems at any given RPM I'm sucking more gas, the only difference I can attribute this to is the intake air temp

anyone else have any thoughts???

I don't know if your issues have to do with driving an AT.

I have no grill block, an AT and am seeing a hit of 9% max so far.

I'm thinking the ATF gets cooled off a lot more than the grease in a MT and has a resultant higher mean winter viscosity.
