I'm pretty sure your score needs to be above 720 to qualify for the 0%. They pull Equifax, but will use a different bureau if you request it. When I applied for financing, the guy just asked me which of my scores was higher and used that one to be sure I'd get the best deal possible.

Also, you can apply online to get that part out of the way before you go. That's one thing I wish I would have done.

No free credit scores; you can get your reports for free at annualcreditreport.com once a year. You can get the real deal credit scores for $15.95/bureau or all three for like $40 at myfico.com - the ones you get elsewhere aren't accurate.

You can get them in the mail for free though as I recall...Equifax sent me my report with the score and everything for free after I called and requested one. Maybe they screwed up and forgot to charge me?

IIRC twit is correct, you can get your reports for free but not the score - you must have slipped thru the cracks bird

That's impossible, 720 is the maximum.


But yes, you need to figure in the "excellent" category.
