I believe only the IST and some other less popular models have this engine over there and they are not a s much of a tuner car as the vitz. The POwer Entreprises manuals don't list up anything for the 2ZR-FE engine I will like to be proved wrong tough |

Regarding the camcon, I don' think there is one yet for the 2ZR. Could be wrong though. http://www.powerenterpriseusa.net/pr...con/camcon.htm |

![]() mmmm I'm the kind of person that only learns first hand... ![]() Plus a broken rod will provide you with a nice story to tell your friends.. ![]() J/K Yeap this engine would not take over reving for much time. But it should hold some extra 400 rpm over a couple of 1/4 mile passes. We will have to find out....

News Flash!!! who is talking about the 1NZ engine??? The 2ZR it's been out for less than 2 years.... It could be as fragile as the 1NZ, but we don't really know. No one has reported a Con Rod failure on any forum so far... There is this guy who was drag racing in a boosted 2ZR. Ended up killing the engine after a few months but due to a lean condition @14 psi. But the rods held up with the abuse. |
