No. Until 62 mph the are the same, after that the Yaris 1.8 shows immediately his rear and is gone on a straight road. (much more torque)

In cornering the Suzi is quicker.

did you tested?because 125HP vs 133Hp is very little diference..and the weight is 1050kg vs 1250kg is a little bit more..from swift's sport owners i heared that is a little bit faster than yaris ts for 0-100km/h,the transmission is little bit better than yaris TS,ESP&ASR is possible to turn off from a button..yea, maybe after 100km/h yaris ts will be faster (more torque,a few hp)..but i think 0-400m suzuki would be winner..even the factory details are in advantage for suzuki:0-100km/h 9,3sec for TS and 8,9sec for suzuki..i'm talking about the stock cars.
anyway in my opinion, suzuki would be the winner racing 0-100km/h.
i'll try to test a swift sport ,because it was the alternative of my TS when i bought it.and i did't find a way to test the swift, but i'm very courious

In a car magazine was a roadtest between the two and there the measurements say that. see http://www.autoweek.nl/magazineartikel.php?id=11022 (dutch) or http://www.autoplenum.de/Auto/SUZUKI...ab=testreports (german)

BTW; my yaris is 1090kg (car ID) and TRC en VSC you can turn off
