You would never want to use brake cleaner. Would possibly damage the sensor to the point your vehicle would barely run. And im sure a new one cost several hundred.

I dont know if you read my post few days ago. My friends MAF in his lexus was damaged. It costed $1080.00 for a new one. No joke.
