Yeah, that's the '09 S spoiler. I was lucky the second dealer found the unpainted one. The first dealer thought it was aftermarket or in some way unavailable. Took 2 weeks to come in.

Here're the photos. The dealer only found a part number for the unpainted one. I don't know if you can get them prepainted.

It wasn't real cheap. The spoiler was about $350 including tax, and the shop I went to charged me $225 to paint and install (lifetime warranty), but I'm really happy with the way it came out.

And the kit came with all the hardware and instructions to install it, so no extra costs there.

Sounds like you had better luck that me.

I thought I was all set up to get the S-spoiler like the one pictured in frownonfun's post of the yellow 3-door. Went to the dealer, told and showed the parts guy what I wanted, he called me back a day later saying he found it, ordered the part, brought my car in, they didn't have the right tools, grabbed the part and brought it to a different dealership, got it installed, went to pick it up and turns out they ordered the regular factory spoiler. Now I'm stuck trying to get them to pay me back becuase I'm out $400 for the wrong spoiler.

I got the same one on ebay for 290 shipped...Body shop near by will paint and install for 130.00

Isn't the one on eBay slightly different, I thought that was the 07-08 RS type. This 09 'S' spoiler seems to mount up higher and is more lifted..

i talked to a MR2 vendor to see if he could get this in

it was like 245+ shipping

he told me they are not available pre painted :(

he couldnt find it also untill somebody posted up the part number

That's some aftermarket spoiler, definately NOT OEM! And the price???
