^ not much room under the seat. I like the idea, though. People might not know it's there when they go through your car to steal stuff and it's easy access from the driver's seat.
On the other hand, I've heard too many horror stories with Fiat's and Italian cars (not including the racing cars, of course) so I don't know if I"ll ever buy a Fiat.

![]() Fiat's are great little cars. Every other country in the world likes 'em. They are WAY better built than the average Detroit Tank. |

I'm not sure anyone prefers them "over other brands", but they sell very well in a great deal of countries. There used to be a rumor here that FIATs would burst into flame for no reason, and had been banned because of that. Detroit Kool-Aid.....

![]() No, no, no, no... that's not it. I travel to Europe often, France especially, and they drive all kinds of cars, over there: many Japanese, German cars (a lot of Audis), a lot of SMART's, too. The Toyota Yaris, has a excellent reputation in France BTW. As to the rest of your comment, looks like somebody's been watching too much FOX news talk about Kool-Aid...

In Guatemala, Toyota is the BEST! back in 1988 it was the best.
I remember that Toyota was offering a little truck like mine above it was smaller but not as cheap as the Fiat City. And that was the one I wanted, but since I was going to have it for free, I didn't mind the Fiat. I just did a quik google search and found this 1975 Toyota tiny truck for $1800 Amazing... ![]() ![]() I actually remember my mother had a white one when I was 6 years old! Any way Toyota is the best in Central America!
