The big question to me is it lighter than a Yaris? It would have to be under 2000 lbs and have a independent rear suspension to be worth trading in the Yaris. Otherwise it is just cosmetics.

• The UK-spec iQ weighs 1,940.4 lbs. (manual); 22.05 lbs. more for the auto.
• The car has a torsion-beam rear suspension (just like the Yaris).

I'll say this: They'd better offer the iQ in a manual transmission in the U.S.! If it's auto-only, that'd suck. Then again, America is becoming a "shiftless society." **cough**Yaris 5 door**cough**
