I remote started my car in the garage while it was in gear, and ended up catching it with my dad :0 not pleasant experience

Back in 7th grade, my friend was eating his lunch while on the school bus(school was closed early because of snow). While he had a large spoon full of apple sauce in his mouth I said something stupid. I don't remember what it was. After I said it he did the biggest spit-take ever. It went all over the guy in front of us. We both got a bit of a beating for that.

OK, anyone ever did this?

* hitting "reply to all" by accident (or worse, sending the email to the wrong person!)

* thinking there is absolutely nobody around to hear it and letting out a loud fart, only to realize that I wasn't alone

* putting something on the top of your car, getting in your car, and driving off... (that happened to my Dad once, he put his camera on top of the car and forgot it)

i almost lost my job doing that back in the day..

one of my really big customers sent a request for "return" for some products he'd allegedly purchased from us. well, he HAD purchased them before.. ONE piece.

he was trying to return 12 of them.

hit reply to all (because my team-leader was in the email) and neglected removing the customer from the address list.

and said..

is this guy serious? what an idiot, he's only bought 1 from us

yeah..... didn't go over well.

At Starbucks when I tried really hard to let it rip slowly and quietly. I had to put alot of pressure on it, so in the end everyone heard it

My ArtBin on the roof of my car while on the phone. I didn't realize it until I heard it slide-off and hit the pavement. By the time I pulled over another car had already smashed it to pieces

ouch!

How about this one. E-mailing my buddy's girlfriend a politically incorrect / crude/ offensive Irish-in-a bar joke, and getting an email back from her saying "Why thank you, by the way, I am Irish, and yes, we do like our drinks ... " ooops

hard to tell. it was a real mean joke, too. I ought to know better than sending offensive jokes to people I hardly know.

Oh, well, live and learn

the other day i was in a closed-door meeting with some of my fellow managers and i was given the old 'nothing you say leaves this room' line. well, i was frustrated with a co-worker(who wasn't in the room) and needed to vent so i WENT OFF(dumb, i know)! anyways, the next day said co-worker asked me if his name was brought up? i denied and he tells me 'that's not what i heard!'. last time i say anything

Any time I've been angry it's always hurt me to some degree. Most businesses seem to put a premium on people being tolerant of others.

Usually when someone is stupid they tend to make their own bed. If they're using you to clean up after them the best answer is to make their problem the bosses problem and not your problem. By that I mean that if you're TCB for them you cannot do your own work, and you have to make that clear. If they're playing games that will hurt them in the long run.

Lately when people irritate me I let it pass. Isn't worth it.
