When you go between rim sizes the tire sizes change with the rim so the overall diameter stays the same. if you get a 17 inch wheel you will notice the smaller sidewall compared to factory. Plus 1 inch isnt going to make any difference. Maybe 1 or 2 percent variance in your speedo which isnt even detectable by a analog gauge.
