i swap the motor for the same one. The old one got hydrolock. If your ever going down toryork just before the toronto city parking lot if flood bad with heavy rain, and it alot deeper than it look trust me. I got the same motor for 800$ with 25000km on it. the 1.8 from the corolla was 1300$. I was gonna do the 1.8 but didn't have the time to get all the info to pull it off. Plus i need a car for work. No LSD tranny. Didn't want one. I used the money for a 23mm sway bar, nst UD pulley & my rally mudflaps. The install cost 600$ since it was plug & play, with oil & tranny change. with new anti freeze etc. Not bad price and they did it in 3 days.
