Open hoods on rainy weather???? - Toyota Yaris Forums

Yes I know that water will always find it's way into the engine bay, however this is kind of different... we are talking about large amounts (it's a big hole as you can see) of water flowing on top of the engine bay... not from under the car.

I agree the water won't heart the engine... is mostly the electrical stuff that i'm concerned. The head lights wiring and the MAF sensor wiring... stuff like that.

And yeah I have a CAI, I will have to figure a way to stop the water flowing down the pipe until the filter below the headlight. Something like a plastic collar...

I guess I will take my time to review all the most exposed wiring and make sure is well insulated to prevent any problems...
