Yaris 1.0L video. Sweet!

Any guess as to what the MPGs must be on this guy?

Same engine as mine, but the red one has lower spec and 2 extra doors.

As for MPG on a 1-litre, check my sig.

i think the 1.0L lacks power on the yaris.

or is it that you drive mainly in the city (stop and go traffic)?

I'd be fine with a 1L engine in a Yaris. The 1.5L has oodles and gobs of extra power.

Heck, I drove my Dad's 1983 Diesel Chevette for several years. A 1L Yaris would run rings around it.

it's supposed to be 44mpg/city.

I get 39mpg city driving in my 1.3L HB 1st gen.

yours should get more, a friend just imported a vitz from Japan, 1.0L and gets around 44 too.

his car is fucking beatuful

It needs the stop lights changed, and lowering springs.

Mine's supposed to get 36,7 MPG (US) city, so I'm not that far off the mark (I drive 99% city).

And as for lack of power- this engine's all about economy and I don't have any illusions regarding that. However, it has all the power needed to keep up with traffic. All in all, a good result for something that has the engine resembling this set-up-

That's 3 cans with a total of 1 litre :)
