na i just visited Manila and McCathy (sp)

I was staying with a family who lived in Meckawayan (sp???)

it was poor but the people were cool and i remember buying a pack of Marlboro's for 30 cents and few cases of San Miguel for a few bucks

it was awesome, you could smoke and get drunk for like 2 bucks a night!

makati and meycauayan(in bulacan)...glad that u had fun...san miguel is the best beer......grew up in manila, left there when i was 11 (1987)...went back few times...remember in early 80's when we used to go to luneta and ccp...good times...when we were lil kids my mom would always tell us stories about wwii and it reminds me a lot like that on youtube video...

great to see quaipo back in the days and the clothes people wear r just so cool..

anyone notice that we used to drive on the other side of the road(left) and the cars are lhd...wonder when it changed?

wikipedia: "Right-hand driving was introduced in the Philippines on the last day of the Battle of Manila, 10 March 1945, to facilitate American troop movements."

that's what i thought, it's because of the americans

boracay is one of the best beach in the world but it's too trendy for me now, would rather go to some other unknown beach...
