I have a recharge kit that has a gauge on it, which is really the only safe way to recharge one yourself. The recharge kit with the gauge was only about $10 more than one without.

The correct charge for the Yaris (measured on the low pressure side, where you charge it) is 0.15 to 0.25 MPa, which equals 22 to 36 PSI.
i would hope that that psi range is when the a/c is operating... not a static pressure...

Correct (and good point). Automotive AC is always checked/charged with the engine running, transmission in neutral, and AC on.

Cool. Which program are you doing (one year, two year, associates, etc.)?
