I'm sorta in the area already - I'm out in Naperville so it's not very far at all. If you need any extra help with your springs and shocks (it's a good idea to do both at the same time, IMO), I'd be glad to help.

That's nice of you man! I'm still waiting on someone to reply to me as far as payment method goes. And, still not sure if my setup will work yet with DF210's as far as rubbing is concern. I got a motegi MR7's 17x7 ET40 with nexen n3000 205/40ZR17. I got a guy that is willing to do my springs in southern hicago he will do it for me for $100 :P I put up a thread for it under wheels, suspension etc. Oh and fujita CAI are they oiled or dry? |

The wheels won't rub with DFs. I have Blitz Profile 8 wheels 17x7 ET40 with Dunlop 195/40R17 also with DF210s and I have yet to rub. The Fujita has a dry filter, so you only need like a weak soap and water solution to clean it out.
As for installing the springs and shocks, I'd help you out if you needed to do a second installation (assuming you do the springs and shocks separately) for sure.

heck, I'll do it for like $60. It's a lot of fun for me, so I don't really care too much about the money.
But so what are you going to do for the exhaust assembly, if you're not going to get the Nitto? Will you have one custom made with the cat?

I recommend checking out either the Fujitsubo Wagolis or the Ask Silent Power Type-S axle-backs. I have the Wagolis and I couldn't be happier. As for the Ask, it sounds beautiful and deep, but I found the Fujitsubo before the Ask. Both sound a bit better than the Medallion, IMO

Stupid question but will a Nitto Mid Pipe bolt up to the stock axle back?

^ yes, since aftermarket axle-backs have to fit the stock "midpipe," the inverse is true.

I was just concerned that the nitto was a larger diameter pipe that would not mate up to the stock axle back. I could care less about the cats and I know by taking them out will make the car more throaty as is and I dont need any fart cans on the back of the car.

^ Actually people who have the NITTO midpipe (with or without other exhaust mods) like the sound a lot. That is de-catted. I haven't heard one person call it "awful".
