50 MPG or BUST!

I know it could be apples and oranges, but does anyone have both a scangauge and the ecometer? Just for comparison sake performance-wise. I know the ecometer is more inexpensive and looks more stylish, but I'm curious about side-by side performance.

http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/engi...-splitter.html ^talk about the obd-II splitters, and the signal issues. http://www.obd2cables.com/products/ ^source for "splitter". edit: caliyaris- so is $67.83 shipped the price to beat then? edit#2: since the bullydog watchdog was brought up... i duno about that monitor. it seems like something that can look like a portable gps, or in other words, something inviting for thieves. i'm trying to avoid that without putting the device away everytime i park.
